
Uganda Hippos boss Molly Byekwaso has named his Final squad for Total CAF U-20 Zonal Qualification tournament.
Police Football Club’s forward Derrick Kakooza and Mbarara City’s Ivan Eyamu have been left out while former Hippos captain Robert Kitabalwa and KCCA FC midfielder Andrew Kawooya are also omitted.
There is also no place for Sunday Opio, Umar Lutalo, Jamal Masiko and Wilber Wamala who have been in camp up to the final day.
However, StarTimes Uganda Premier League players including the likes of Aziz Kayondo , Steven Sserwada, Musa Ramathan, Garvin Kizito Mugweri, Kenneth Ssemakula, Joseph Kafumbe, Isma Mugulusi, Najib Yiga, Bobosi Byaruhanga, Richard Basangwa and Raymond Onyai all feature, as does former Proline FC goal poacher Ivan Bogere.
There are also call-ups for Jack Komakech, Dennis Ssenyondwa, Ashiraf Mulindi, Alpha Thierry Ssali and Faisal Wabyona while Vipers SC’s Ivan Asaba is recalled after overcoming a sprain on the ankle and is now fit and ready for the task ahead.

The Uganda Hippos team flies out of the country today aboard Uganda Airlines via Nairobi, Kenya and the tournament will kick off on 23rd November 2020 and end on 6th December 2020 in Tanzania.
Uganda Hippos will tussle it out with Eritrea, Burundi and South Sudan in Group B of this year’s Total CAF U-20 Zonal Qualification tournament in Tanzania.
Hosts and defending champions Tanzania are in group A and will face fixtures against Somalia and Djibouti during the group stages whilst Kenya is in group C with Ethiopia and Sudan.
