Gaddafi FC announce talented squad ahead of maiden top-flight campaign

Uganda Premier league new entrants Gaddafi FC have confirmed their first team squad brimming with talent to be guided by their new-look technical team that heads into battle in their first-ever season in Uganda’s top-flight with several notable changes from the previous season following a busy transfer window.

A busy and an exciting summer of arrivals saw the soldier boys bring thirteen new players and these are Magada Abudu (from Busoga United), Mutebi Ronald(from Maroons),Onen Franco(from Busoga United), Buchochera Jamaldine (from Mbale heroes), Musamali Paul (from MYDA), Mpanga Sula(from Vipers), Sibira Yunus(From Royal leopards), Tenywa Henry (from De school), Kirya Amos (fromMYDA), Kalumba Brian ( from Vipers), Kitata Alex (from UPDF), Muwawu Faizal (from Villa) and Musana Hassan (from KCCA).

Meanwhile, the club managed to retain fourteen players (14) while 2020/2021 FUFA Big league MVP Munguchi Steven who played for the Soldier boys in the 2020/2021 Fufa Big league season on loan from Startimes Uganda Premier league outfit Uganda Revenue Authority Football club has now sealed a permanent switch to the Eastern Region based club.

The Soldier boys also made some changes in their Technical department and this will be led by former BUL FC CEO Salmin Saleh as the football director, Abdul Mubarak Wamboya as the head coach while Hassan Zzungu who helped the club gain promotion to top flight will now serve as the assistant head coach and Frank Kisitu Ssebagala will work as the goalkeeping coach.

Away from the playing squad and technical team, Gaddafi has also signed a memorendum of understanding with Nile international hospital to be the official medical service provider. The two years renewable deal is worth UGX 60 million will see the Walukuba based hospital treat players and staff in case of injuries and other off-field medical conditions.
