

Nine Ugandan officials led by the FUFA President and CAF Executive Committee Member Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim will duly serve in varying capacities when the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations 2021 kicks off in Cameroon on 9th January 2022.
Hon. Magogo will attend by virtue of being a CAF Executive Committee Member and will also take on assignments as set out by CAF for other Executive Committee Members.

Meanwhile, The FUFA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Edgar Watson whose experience in the same role stems from previous tournaments in Youth Competitions, CHAN Finals and AFCON 2017 and 2019 will be among the members in the Technical Study Group at the Final tournament that ends on 6th February 2022.

Mike Letti , who has been a CAF and FIFA Match Commissioner since 2013 and has handled several continental engagements including the Total Energies CAF Champions League , Confederation Cup and also served as Commissioner in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers will be a Match Commissioner at the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations 2021 in Cameroon.

FUFA Football Development Director Ali Mwebe will make his debut at the AFCON Senior tournament and will be serving as the Assistant General Coordinator at the tournament
Mwebe has garnered experience since 2018 where he has been General coordinator in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Competitions, Africa Youth Championships and CECAFA tournaments.

Experienced and reigning best CAF Safety and Security Officer Dixon ‘Bond’ Okello who headed the security operations at the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt, returns among the CAF Safety & Security Officers for the tournament.

Assistant referee Dick Okello, who has been a present figure in officiating CAF and FIFA football Competitions is among the Assistant referees appointed for the tournament.
He gets another shot at a bigger stage and will be making his debut at the AFCON Finals after appearing at the CHAN Finals in Cameroon and handling the final of the 2020/2021 Total Energies CAF champions League between Al Ahly and Kaizer Chiefs.
On the other hand, CECAFA Media Manager Andrew Jackson Oryada, who was in Cameroon for the CHAN Finals and AFCON 2019 in Egypt in the field of media appointed by CAF will serve as an Editor.

Oryada has served as Media officer in CECAFA and CAF Championships for clubs and National teams and his vast experience in the media world and more so in the online publications will be beneficial to the entire continent.
The Marketing Director of FUFA, Esther Musoke who undertook various special training progammes with CAF and FIFA set up for Football Federations will make her debut at the continental showpiece in the marketing department.

FUFA Communications Director, Ahmed Hussein who has tasted life in the CAF Club and National team engagements at the highest level is another Ugandan appointed for the AFCON Finals and will also be making his debut at the tournament as a Media officer.
Hussein has traversed the continent on different assignments by CAF to handle some of the explosive fixtures in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

Ahmed Hussein also handled the AFCON U-17 Finals in Gabon as Media Officer for the entire tournament.
The Total Energies AFCON Finals will be played in six venues across five host cities in Yaounde, Douala, Limbe, Bafoussam and Garoua.
In Yaounde, there are two stadia; the 60,000 seater Olembe and 42,500 seater Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo, the 30,000 seater Roumde Adjia Stadium is in Garoua, Japoma stadium (50,000 seater) in Douala city, Kouekong stadium (20,000 seater) is Bafoussam city and Limbe Stadium (20,000 seater) is Limbe city.
