USSSA draw in full as Kawempe Muslim handed tricky group | 2022 USSSA National Boys football championship

Kawempe Muslim Senior secondary school and the rest of the qualified schools found out who they’ll be facing in the group stage of the 2022 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Boys football championship after Wednesday’s draw at the head office of Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association.

The 2022 Kampala District football champions have been drawn in a tricky Group H of the 2022 USSSA National Boys football championship with 2019 finalists Jinja Secondary School , rising and exciting Janan Secondary School , Numasa secondary school, St. John Bosco, Boston High, and Kabwohe secondary school, while one late comer (L11) is expected to join them after fulfilling all the necessary requirements.

Meanwhile, defending Champions St Mary’s Kitende (A1)were handed a favourable Group (Group A) with Buremba Secondary School ,Bugangari Secondary School , MPIGI Mixed, Fort portal secondary school , St Francis Karonga, Lake side, Masese and will also be joined by late comer number five.

GROUP OF DEATH ?

No real standout candidates for the traditional group of death. Groups E, F and H are perhaps the most interesting ones, and have the potential for some upsets.

The schools championship initially called Copa Coca Cola will be hosted by Mvara SS in Arua and will kick off on Monday 18th April 2022 and expected to end on 30th April 2022.

Meanwhile, the draws for Girls football championship were not held yesterday but the chairman Organizing Committee and the Association treasurer Justus Mugisha promised that the date for these draws will soon be disclosed.
