

The 2022 Sir Apollo Kaggwa schools / City Parents’ school soccer league action returns this weekend (Sunday, 1st May 2022) with seven exciting fixtures on the card at Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School- Mengo playground, kicking off at 9:00am.
For starters, only members of staff from the ten Sir Apollo Kaggwa schools /City Parents’ school, top management and old student’s Association of Sir Apollo Kaggwa schools/City Parents’ school are eligible to participate.
All the twelve participating teams are expected in action this weekend and Sbk Sports Mail’s Brian Sentuuya brings you everything you need to know about this weekend’s fixture.
MATCH ONE : CITY PARENTS’ SCHOOL vs SIR APOLLO KAGGWA PRIMARY PRIMARY SCHOOL- KITINTALE
The first game of the day at Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Mengo will see unbeaten City Parents’school take on another unbeaten side, Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Kitintale at 9:00am.
Both teams deserved their first victories of the season last weekend and look capable of mounting a serious challenge against each other tomorrow.
The Kabaka Njagala based side head into the game following on from a 2-0 win over Fairways Nursery and Primary School-Kireka in their opening game of the season whilst Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Kitintale will be hoping for a repeat of their last result, following a 3-1 victory over Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Nakasero last Sunday.

MATCH TWO: WINSTON vs SAK NAKASERO
The second game of the day at Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Mengo playground will see Kawempe division based Winston day and boarding primary school take on struggling Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Nakasero.
Winston will be playing their first game of the season and will fancy their chances of making it one-out-of-one against a Francis Buyondo led Nakasero side.
On the other hand, struggling and winless Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Nakasero and their fans will hope for a better result here following their last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Kitintale in their first game of the campaign.
MATCH THREE: SASOSA VS SECRETARIAT
The third game of the day will see Sir Apollo Kaggwa Schools Old students’ Association (SASOSA) face-off with the Sir Apollo Kaggwa schools / City Parents’ School Secretariat (top management) in what will be their respective first game of the campaign.
MATCH FOUR : MUGONGO vs SAK KISAASI
The fourth game of the day at Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Mengo playground will see Wakiso based Kyengera Parents’ school Mugongo take on Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Kisaasi.
Mugongo will be hoping for a better result here after their 2-0 defeat last time out to Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Mengo.
On the other hand, Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Kisaasi (playing their first game of the season ) will feel that a struggling Mugongo side is there for the taking when the two teams meet and a win for any of these sides would be huge in their bid to improve their position on the league log.

MATCH FIVE : FAIRWAYS VS KPS
The fifth game of the day will see the Wakiso based duo of Fairways Nursery and Primary School Kireka and Kyengera Parents School face-off.
Kyengera Parents School will be hoping for a better result here following a 0-0 stalemate with Sir Apollo Kaggwa Boarding Primary School – Old Kampala last Sunday.
On the other hand, Fairways and their fans will also hope for a better result following a 2-0 defeat in their last outing at the hands of a Robert Ssekiganda led high-flying City Parents’ school.
MATCH SIX : SAK OLD KAMPALA vs SAK MENGO
The second last game of the day will be a cracker as two unbeaten sides in the league , Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Mengo and Sir Apollo Kaggwa Boarding Primary School – Old Kampala battle at Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Mengo playground.
Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Mengo will be hoping for a repeat of their last result in the league, following a 2-0 convincing victory over Kyengera Parents School Mugongo while Sir Apollo Kaggwa Boarding Primary School – Old Kampala and their fans will hope for a better result here following a 0-0 draw with Kyengera Parents School.
MATCH SEVEN : WINSTON vs SAK KISAASI
The final game of the day at Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Mengo playground will see two Kawempe division based sides Winston day and boarding primary school Kawempe and Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Kisaasi play each other.
This won’t be an easy encounter since both teams will be playing their respective second game on the day.
Winston and Kisaasi will come into this encounter on the back of their respective first games of the campaign against Nakasero and Mugongo respectively.
