Football aficionados were treated to a spectacle as teams battled it out on the pitch, showcasing their prowess and determination.
In the fiercely contested Group A, Kyadondo SS triumphed over Kawempe Muslim with a narrow 1-0 victory, while Bulo Parents displayed dominance with an impressive 8-0 triumph over Kisaana SS. Not to be outdone, Kawempe Muslim bounced back emphatically, routing Kisaana SS 11-0 in a one-sided affair. Meanwhile, Kyadondo SS continued their winning streak, securing a 3-0 win against Bulo Parents, solidifying their position as formidable contenders in the group.
In Group C, Kasawo SS delivered a commanding performance, overpowering Kinaawa H/S Kawempe with an 8-0 win. Busiika Muslim showcased their mettle with a convincing 3-0 victory over Kadugala SS. The clash between Kasawo SS and Busiika Muslim witnessed a display of skill and strategy, with Kasawo SS emerging victorious with a 2-0 scoreline.
Group D witnessed intense battles, with Kakungulu High edging past Greenlight Islamic with a narrow 1-0 win. Sseke SS and Namagabi SS engaged in a thrilling encounter, ultimately ending in a 1-1 draw. The match between Namagabi SS and Kakungulu High concluded in a deadlock, with both teams showcasing resilience and defensive prowess.
In Group E, Kibuli SS showcased their attacking prowess, dismantling Mbirizi Seed with a commanding 5-0 victory. Meanwhile, Kawanda SS and Abu Aisha battled it out fiercely, culminating in a hard-fought 1-1 draw, leaving both teams evenly poised in the group standings.
Group F saw Masaka SS asserting their dominance with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Mbogo Mixed. Bwala Muslim exhibited skill and precision, securing a 2-0 win against Kigumba SS, setting the stage for an intriguing battle for group supremacy.
In the highly competitive Group H, Kakungulu Memorial and Madinah Islamic engaged in a tightly contested encounter, ultimately culminating in a goalless draw. Madinah Islamic showcased their offensive prowess in a resounding 10-1 victory over Wamatovu Muslim, underlining their credentials as serious contenders in the tournament.
