
Vipers SC have confirmed that their squad is in ‘good shape’ ahead of their crucial Caf champions league preliminary round clash with Al Hilal on Saturday 28th 2020 at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
The venoms have received a triple injury boost with Livingstone Mulondo, Rashid Toha and Muhammed Shaban,who missed last season’s action due to injuries all in contention to feature against Al Hilal.

Livingstone Mulondo has painful been sidelined for almost a year owing to an injury he sustained during one of the club’s training sessions last year at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
On the other hand, fate befell Rashid Toha who had only joined the Kitende based outfit from Onduparaka FC in August 2019 with a horror debut, in Viper’s 2-2 stalemate with Mbarara City at the St Mary’s Stadium-Kitende in the first round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League late last year just two months into his stay at the Kitende based club.

The towering defender had to be replaced midway into the second half and later underwent the knife to rectify a knee injury he had succumbed and has not returned to the field of play for Vipers in a competetive game since then.
Meanwhile, having been signed and unveiled in August 2019 on a two-year deal from Moroccan outfit Raja Casablanca,Muhammad Shaban Shaban faced the knife to finally rectify his recurring knee injury last year in November.
The former KCCA forward became the latest and third player at the Vipers to undergo surgery at the club after skipper Halid Lwaliwa and Geoffrey Wasswa.
Shaban has stayed on the sidelines without any action and hasn’t been able to make his debut for Vipers
