Uganda’s representatives at the ongoing CAF Women Champions League Zonal Qualifiers (CECAFA Region) , She Corporate FC are the first team to qualify for the finals of the ongoing tournament in Tanzania.
This has been confirmed after a 2-1 win over Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC (CBE) during the first semi-final contest of this year’s regional tournament in Tanzania.
A goal in each half from New recruit Anitah Namata and midfielder Phionah Nabbumba inspired the FUFA Women Super League defending Champions to the much desired victory over the in-form Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC.
Meanwhile, Loza Abera was on target for Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC (CBE) and increased her scoring tally in the tournament to ten goals.
In the final, She Corporate FC will either face Simba Queens FC (Tanzania) or AS Kigali WFC (Rwanda) who are going to square off in the second semi final encounter of the regional tournament.
